Dr. (Mrs.) Ayandele, Olufolayimika Abiose, an astute, administrator, and school improvement specialist, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, (1985), Master’s Degree in Chemistry (1987), and Master’s Degree in Education and Doctorate Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Lagos. A certified educator in Texas USA, she was a pioneer co-lead of the Lagos State School Improvement Programme that was charged with developing strategies for training and support programmes at the State and Local Government Education Authority (LGEAs) levels.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ayandele, started her working career as a Classroom Teacher in 1987 and she was the head of science department in Ajumoni Grammar School, Okota and Jubril Martins Memorial Grammar School, Iponri between 1993 and 1999; headed the Training Unit and Planning Research Information & Statistics Unit at Mainland Zone of Post Primary Teaching Service Commission. Headed Establishment Unit of Personnel Matters Department of Education District IV 2005 – 2010. She was the Head of Schools’ Administration Department, Education District III, Falomo until she was appointed as Tutor General/ Permanent Secretary of Education District 1, Agege in August 12th, 2015.
She has also attended many professional trainings some of which include: Capacity Building on Effective Classroom Process in Education, Leadership Skills Development for School Managers etc. Contemporary Best Practice on Project Impact Sustenance for Administrators Johannesburg South Africa; Project Experience Gathering Documentation and Dissemination for Project Dissemination, Dar-Es Salam, Tanzania; Result-Driven Total Project Management for Educational Administrators, Executive International Training on contemporary Experience sharing in Educational Management information system in Banjul, Gambia June 8th – 12, 2015 Member, Nigerian Teachers Registration Council, Member, Educational Administrators of Nigeria, Member, Technical Committee on Teachers’ Competency Framework, Lagos State, Member, Technical Committee on Inclusive Education, Lagos State. She is happily married with children.
